James Fox, a renowned filmmaker, recently made an appearance on two consecutive podcasts hosted by Julian Dorey. During these podcasts, he delved into the history of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and made a startling claim regarding the Varginha UFO incident. In his documentary, “Moment of Contact,” Fox was unable to include a claim about the incident where an alien entity allegedly made telepathic contact with one of the witnesses.
The Varginha UFO incident remains one of the most controversial events in Brazilian history, occurring in January of 1996. The incident involved multiple eyewitness accounts of strange beings in Varginha, as well as reports of a crashed UFO and the retrieval of extraterrestrial remains by the Brazilian military.
The first person to reveal the peculiar details of the incident was ufologist Roger Leir, who visited Varginha shortly after the event in 2003 and subsequently authored the book “UFO Crash in Brazil.” Upon the arrival of the police, they reportedly opened fire on the extraterrestrial beings, injuring one of them. The wounded extraterrestrial was then taken to a hospital approximately 1.5 kilometers away from Varginha.
As per the accounts of the hospital staff, an entire wing of the medical facility was closed down due to a sudden influx of heavily armed military personnel. Despite the best efforts of the medical experts to rescue the creature, it could not be saved and was declared dead on January 22, 1996.
A group of more than twelve specialists, including geneticists, conducted an autopsy on the creature. The results of the autopsy showed that the alien had a black tongue, no reproductive organs, and a navel. Following the autopsy, the deceased alien was placed in a wooden coffin that was secured with screws.
Retired Brazilian Air Force General Jose Carlos Pereira, in an interview for a documentary on Fox, stated that “Governments tend to cover up everything they can’t explain to their population.” Meanwhile, Carlos de Sousa, a university professor and an amateur ultralight pilot, claimed to have witnessed the crash that occurred on January 13, 1996, in Varginha, Brazil.
In the film, Mr. de Sousa described the UFO as being the size of a school bus, with a submarine-like shape, leaving a trail of white smoke behind it. In an on-camera interview with researcher Claudeir Covo in 1996, he said, “It was floating and slowly losing altitude. It looked like a washing machine struggling, fighting to keep its altitude… The side of it was completely torn, and it had white smoke coming out. It wasn’t black smoke like from a fire. At the time, I thought it was like an aircraft in trouble, an airplane, so I decided to follow it.”
One of the most talked-about UFO incidents outside the United States is still a hot topic, whether the account is fictional or not. The testimony of the witnesses remains highly convincing even after 25 years. James Fox has spent 27 years traveling the world in pursuit of the truth regarding UFOs, and his latest documentary, “Moment of Contact,” presents the most compelling evidence to date that extraterrestrial life exists, has visited our planet, and has even perished here.
On Julian Dorey’s podcast, Mr. Fox revealed that the creature recovered from a 1996 incident had supposedly established telepathic contact with two doctors who treated its injuries at Humanitas Hospital in Brazil. Although he could not include this information in his documentary because he needed testimony on it, he referred to Dr. Roger K. Leir’s book “UFO Crash in Brazil: A Genuine UFO Crash with Surviving ETs” to learn more about it.

In Chapter 6, “The Medical Testimony,” Leir mentioned his conversation with a doctor who had treated one of the recovered alien entities. The being, which did not appear to have a gender, communicated telepathically to him that humans were “totally detached” from their spiritual selves and felt sorry for them.
According to the doctor, the alien was transferred to another hospital in “satisfactory condition,” but it was apparently dead within 24 hours. Leir speculated that the being may have left its body of its own accord. The alien’s craft was reportedly taken to a military installation in the US, where it currently remains.
During an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit, James Fox teased that there were even more significant updates regarding the Varginha alien coming in the future. Responding to rumors of a 35-second video featuring the creature, Fox revealed that he had personally spoken with three witnesses in Brazil who claimed to have seen photographic evidence, both in video and still form. Fox promised that additional details would be forthcoming, and soon.
In a YouTube video, well-known UFOlogist Vitorio Pacaccini, who had been absent from the community for some time, made a stunning claim: he had seen a highly convincing and detailed video of the Varginha alien in 2012. According to Pacaccini, the being was very weak and unresponsive, and those around it attempted to assist it in standing up and even offered it food and water, which it did not accept. Pacaccini praised the video’s audio and visual quality, stating that the creature matched the descriptions provided by witnesses and military whistleblowers. There is a possibility that James Fox and Pacaccini may collaborate to release this footage to the public.
